An Overview of Wire Drawing Plant

Three Decade  old integrated conglomerate of engineering companies in the manufacturing and supply of all types of wire drawing equipment and their accessories used in making Alloy Steels, Carbon Steels & Non-Ferrous Wires.
The Company has made many advancements in its Wire Drawing Plants including development various ferrous and non-ferrous wires, CO2 wire drawing plants and others.
is wire division capable of manufacturing the following ranges :
Mild Steel wire dia - 22 mm to 0.35 mm
G. I. wire dia - 1.6 mm to 0.4 mm
Cold headed wire for Rivets / Screws / Self Tapping Screws / Phillips Head Screws / Nails / Staplers pins, Size 18 mm to 0.4 mm
Auto cord wire -1.0 mm to 0.2 mm
Spring steel wires 3.0 mm to 0.3 mm
Needle wire 1.2 mm to 0.6 mm
End use : Basic raw material for industrial & export.
Testing Equipments : Complete metallurgical laboratory with chemical & physical testing facilities.

Wire drawing is a metal-reducing process in which a wire rod is pulled or drawn through a single die or a series of continuous dies, thereby reducing its diameter.  Because the volume of the wire remains the same, the length of the wire changes according to its new diameter. Various wire tempers can be produced by a series of drawing and annealing operations. (Temper refers to toughness.)
