To celebrate the
Dol-festival, a fair is held at
Baran. A large procession of "Dol" is carried
out through the city, which are finally immersed in a tank with lot of fanfare.
The villagers throng in large numbers to watch the cultural programs and the
womenfolk indulge in shopping spree.

Approx 8km from Kota city near by right canal. Their is a good donkey fair organized. In Umed Ganj village the fair organized by the Dhakhed Kadi Panchayat Society. This fair was celebrate at the time of Kota Maharao. Their is no need to make any marketing.
